I’m a writer. My goal through this blog is to write more and share this journey with others.
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
― Maya Angelou, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings
“Make up a story… For our sake and yours forget your name in the street; tell us what the world has been to you in the dark places and in the light. Don’t tell us what to believe, what to fear. Show us belief’s wide skirt and the stitch that unravels fear’s caul.”
― Toni Morrison, The Nobel Lecture In Literature, 1993
Good stuff here! Can’t wait to have more time to just sit and read….trust me I will too! 🙂

Finally made it here to see your work. And wow. I was paging down through your posts trying to get a handle on what was here and, to be honest, trying to get to the bottom of the page to see what theme you’re working with (I can’t seem to settle on one), and then I got caught up by the sentence about babies who never lived, and Dr. Davenport questioning why the narrator thought that and then I was hooked right in, trying to figure out what was going on and where to begin. So that’s my only critique right now. In coming blindly to your blog, I don’t know how to get to the beginning of the story. Would it be possible to number the posts in some way or highlight your archives somehow so that readers who get caught up in the story can easily find their way to the beginning? I was really captivated by your narrator and by the seeming jumps in time. I can’t quite work out what’s happening when, or really how much time has passed between the two parts of the story, but I’m okay with that; just makes me more curious. So glad you’ve come back to this story.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I definitely understand what you mean. I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to organize the different parts of the story. Right now the story begins with The Quest for Juniper. And each week I post a new section. I will try adding section numbers. Thanks again!
